Despite telling both Tatum and Hunter she wouldn't miss the party for the world, Sera really didn't feel much in the partying mood at all. She'd spent most of the day in bed, just trying to decide if she'd even bother getting up. At six o'clock she still hadn't even changed out of her pajama's from the night before or picked out an outfit for the party, which she would have normally made sure to do days in advance.

Around quarter after six after Mick and Madeline had decided, for some reason, to stay in for the night. Sera finally decided to at least go to Mack's house. She didn't know what their plan was, but even the idea of any sort of family night just seemed unbearable. She still couldn't look him in the face and hated having to constantly act like nothing was wrong. But atleast he didn't hate her, right? She just needed time to get used to how things had to be.Time to get over Jenny.

Opening her closet Sera looked around for the few minute before grabbing a black dress and stuffing it in her backpack on the floor by her feet. Normally she would have made sure to fold everything perfectly but she really just couldn't be bothered. She could just charm the wrinkles out later if she had to but she didn't think it would matter. She really had no intention of wearing it, she was going but she was in no mood to be social.

Her plan was simple show up a little early, talk to as few people as possible and find a quiet place to hide out before the rest of the school showed up. She didn't feel like talking about what everybody got for Christmas, or like laughing and joking around. She especially didn't feel like talking about Jenny, or getting berated for breaking up with her, which was pretty sure was coming at some point. Probably from more than one person.

Arriving at Mack's house, Sera said very little and took the first opportunity she could to slip upstairs to the spare bedroom. It was basically Hunter's room anyway and she knew the blond would be downstairs most of the evening. It seemed like the perfect place to camp out. Having flopped down on the huge bed, the brunette wasted no time pulling back on the sweatpants from her bag and pulling out the bottle of wine she had stolen from Madeline's wine cabinet. It was New Years, she figured.

When Sera heard someone opening the door she was just finally on the verge of dozing off, and about half way through the bottle. It hadn't been the easiest either, even with the blankets pulled up and the door shut she could still hear the party gradually getting louder downstairs. When she heard Hunter speak, she pulled the blankets up even farther over her head and grasped desperately for them when Hunter ripped them off her. Losing the blanket completely she grabbed Hunter's cowboy plush next to her on the bed and threw it at the older girl.

"No fuck off I don't want to, I'm staying up here. Just leave me alone." She flopped back down on the pillow and then sat back up to look at Hunter for just a second. "Am I allowed to smoke in here?"
