"Yeah, Millie?" He emerged from his bedroom with a dingy sock in his hand and a confused expression on his face. He saw her face and tossed the sock over his shoulder. "What's going on, Blaise being a prat again?"

"Course he is, everyone needs a hobby," Mills joked bitterly. She took a long drink from the beer, glaring maliciously at the opposite wall. Suddenly, Mills exploded into a tirade, "Right, so the git blindsided me. He's taking all his music money and moving to London... in a week. One bloody week is all the notice he gives me? After years of being his roommate! One week! I can't pay the rent on the place by myself, so basically he's fucked me!"

"Wow. Well, it could be worse. But man, he's a git. You can move in here temporarily. This place is too small for all of us, and frankly, I'm tired of seeing Neville in his boxers, and pretending that Ginny hasn't found a way to shag him yet. We can find another place. Are there more beers in the fridge?"
Ron didn't really pay attention, but if he did, he'd know that the ministry was actually paying him a large sum of money on a semi regular basis. He had gotten a few promotions in the last couple of months, and put in a lot of overtime.
It was also probably good that Molly didn't know how much Ron made, because if she did, she would probably insist that it was time for Ron to start a family- though perhaps if it meant starting a family with Mills, a slytherin, she wouldn't mention it.

Mills looked at Ron, jaw dropped. "Er, yeah, there's more beer," she said absently.
"Weasel, did you just say we should move in together, permanently, in our own place? You know your mum will go mad. Can Neville keep this place up on his own? He might move Ginny in and then there's really no pretending that she isn't having her way with him..." she rambled, rather surprised that they might live together. It made sense, but Weasleys get carried away with families, and this was one step closer to, well, lots of things.

Ron walked into the kitchen and helped himself to the beer he didn't know was there. "I think it'll be fine. Ginny pretty much lives here anyway, she might as well pay rent. If I'm not here, I can still delude myself into thinking that nothing is happening, after all, there would be a perfectly good bedroom that wasn't his-" Ron stopped, no, this wasn't working. Ginny was so shagging Neville. "And anyway, even if he needed to find a new place, this doesn't have to be a hasty move, we're not prats like Blaise, well, I might be a prat, but I'm not THAT much of a prat. I'm not gonna be all oi Neville, you've got two days."
Ron took a swig of his beer.
"And well, don't worry about my mum, I'll deal with her when someone eventually lets it slip- and then whoever gets the brunt of her crazy will hopefully have enough guts to say, he's got a job and a girlfriend, what do you expect? I mean, it makes sense to me." Ron blushed.
"Anyway, work has been keeping us both busy enough that at the very least we should be able to spend our time off together, alone. I do have one request though." He had an evil glint in his eye.

Mills heard him out, grateful that he hadn't fallen down to one knee or anything. She was definitely not drunk enough to deal with a Gryffindor on bended knee. Then, he got to that request bit. Dear, sweet Merlin, she wasn't home free just yet. Please don't let him ask something I can't answer.
"Request?" she managed to get out rather half-assedly before drinking more. Drinking helped.

"Well, Blaise has been a real arse, and I feel like we need to get back at him for being a prat. So you know how he keeps having sluts over, loudly, well. I say we shag against the wall to his room with an amplifying charm. I doubt he's over you enough for that to not bother him."

"And that right there is why I love you, Ron," Mills said with a barking laugh, grabbing his wrist and pulling him onto the couch with her. "Think Neville's up?"

Ron kissed Millie and wrapped his arms around her before answering. "Maybe. I don't think so, I haven't heard anything from that direction in a few hours. Why?" He smiled and wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.

"I thought maybe we could practice our grand revenge plot," Mills joked and pulled ROn on top of her on the couch.

"Oh man, you, me, and the amazingness that is your tits are going to have so much fun practicing our grand plot for revenge. We wouldn't want to attempt it without some practice." He said, beginning to unbutton her shirt. "That would be horrible."

Neville was indeed awake, having come home not more than an hour ago after locking up the florist's and taking Ginny out on a surprise date. He had been in his room looking at old family photos and just relaxing in a pair sweat pants and a t-shirt when he heard Milicent's call for Ron. He'd decided to give the two of them some time alone, just seemed polite, but hearing his name caused him to sit up. He slid his feet into a pair of dark green slippers, tied the cord of his robe (bedtime, not wizard), and opened the door to his room.
He walked into the living room and, as he expected, saw Milicent and Ron on the couch. "Evening, all."

Mills looked back over the couch at Neville, her shirt half undone. "Hey Neville, grab a beer. Me and Ron have a little announcement."

Ron took a look at Millie's boobs, then buttoned her shirt back up and sighed. "Yup. You don't mean about the revenge part, right? Because I don't think he needs to know about that part."
Just saying.

Neville also got a glance of what Milicent was sporting, but made no indicative gesture and instead just walked to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of butterbeer. He sat on the chair nearest Trevor's tank and popped open the bottle, taking a swig before speaking up.
"An announcement? Do you mean...?" and he hummed a bit of the traditional wedding march before taking another sip from his drink.

Mills choked on the breath she was taking, coughing for a second. "No, Merlin, no. We, er, no. See. Blaise is a fucking prat who thinks he's too cool for our flat now he's made a bit of money and can get floozies to come from the bar with him, and he's moving out on me with a whole week's notice. And that means that I'll be crashing here with Ron for a while. Eventually, we'll be moving into a place of our own, which will be good for you, Neville, since Ron can't try to keep your wand out of Ginny's pumpkin pastie when he's not here. You should probably ask Weaslette to move in if you wanna make rent and be able to shag in every room of the house," Mills said cheerfully, before grabbing her beer again and drinking like she hadn't said anything remotely offensive.

Neville was a bit shocked to get all of that at once, but quickly recovered. "That... wow. Uh, ok, I guess that's good news." he said, then took a sip of his drink. "Congratulations on moving in together, I'm very happy for you both."
And he was, but the prospect of living with Ginny... sure it was something he'd wanted to do for quite a while now, but he didn't expect the opportunity to arise so suddenly. And would she even want to?
Neville leaned back in the chair, lost in thought.

"I know it's a bit of a surprise, Neville, but we can stay here long enough for you to er, talk it over with Ginny and find a place you'll really like. That will ah, suit your needs. It'll be good."
Ron didn't want to think about needs and neville and ginny all lumped together, but there you are.

Mills laughed aloud at the phrase 'suit your needs' and forced herself not to make any jokes abut Neville's ability to meet Ginny's needs. It was hard, but she figured she didn't need to rub Ron's face in it, yet. "Yeah Nevs, until you man up enough to ask Weaslette to live with you, you'll be stuck with my smiling face. How's that for motivation?" she joked. Aside from sometimes showing up at midnight, Mills was actually a good houseguest, but painting herself and the big, bad bitch from Slytherin was a hobby of hers.

Ron laughed weakly. "It'll all work out- the one thing I want everyone to understand is that we've got plenty of time- Neville, start looking, but don't worry about how long it takes you. No one is leaving anyone stranded."
Ron now wished they could have had this conversation with Neville later, because his girlfriend was looking right shaggable, but he sat back and smiled. The time would come. hehe. Come.
