Role

Name:
Robin Edgar Travers
Birthdate:
November 11, 1960
House:
slytherin
Residence: (Where your character lives outside of school)
London
Classes:
Arithmancy, charms, potions, transfiguration, divination,
Appearance:
Robin, to most, may appear unattractive. Mainly for his pale, tall physique. He is very skinny, with broad shoulders and a long body. His chest, and his muscles, are not tall at all. HIs hair is long, and so light it almost makes him look albino. Except he is not. Naturally.
As far as his attire goes, he dresses depending on occasion. Although he comes from a wealthy family, Robin doesn't always like to look it. Sometimes he will dress in comfortable robes, with a pair of jeans and a simple tshirt. Robin does enjoy music, and one of the many things he enjoys sporting is the name of his current favorite band. Often times, as much as he tries to prevent it, Robins hair ends up very unkempt. With him Robin always has a comb, just for things like that. He has a pointed face, and often likes to think he is flawless. Its not that he's a narcissist, but hey, who can deny when they're pretty, and they know it?
History:
LIke all other stereotypical Pureblood families, Robin Travers was raised with an elitist mind. It started at a young age, the brainwashing. He was sat down in the large leather chair across from his father, and lectured for hours daily until he got the idea that Pure was better than anything else. That magic was better than non magic, and if he were to do anything with a muggle, he would be disowned from the family. Possibly even killed. Of course Robin admired his father, and he loved his family and would never do anything to step out of line. So naturally, he obeyed these beliefs. Other than being raised to be a Pureblood radicle, Robin was raised to be proper. Holding chairs out for ladies, dressing appropriately. Things like that. The perfect, well respected, Pureblooded gentleman.

After having Robin, Jestine and Edgar Travers never wanted another child. They considered them lucky enough to have a boy, thus meaning their name could be carried on. This satisfied them enough. Robin enrolled into Hogwarts at the right age, instantly thrown into Slyhtherin. Needless to say, his parents were ecstatic. Now in his seventh year at Hogwarts, Robin is working hard on his grades so he can graduate, and attempt to join the ranks of Voldemort and his death eaters.

Although not a Death Eater himself, Edgar has a very high opinion of Voldemort and his followers. As such, he practically expects Robin to join. Practically expects Robin to want to join.
Personality: Robin can be a snob, Robin can be laid back, and Robin can be mean. He grew up a spoiled only child, and got whatever he wanted. He grew up a Pureblooded Wizard elitist, and would never so much as give a half blood or a muggle born a second glance. Though, deep down inside Robin is pressured. He feels pressured to live up to his Father's expectations. As a child, Robin was told he would either die or be disowned from the family if he were to step at least one foot out of line. This of course scares Robin, so he tries hard to not disappoint them. Of course Robin is scared, he admires his father, and would feel very ashamed if he were to ruin anything. With all these expectations, Robin's life was basically set out for him. Once out of Hogwarts, he was not expected to find someone and settle down, he is expected to hand his life over to Voldemort. So naturally, Robin tries not to think about girls. Robin is afraid of what his father would say to him if he were to owl home saying he'd gotten a girlfriend.
Other than what has been said above, Robin tends to be rather narcissistic. This really only applies to his hair, and his face. Robin likes to think he is flawless, that he is gorgeous. That his hair is the prettiest of them all.

RP Entry: (Third person)
Robin sat in the large leather chair in his Father's "office" area, very still. His eyes were spacing out, though he was very aware of Edgar's words. His posture was fixed, practiced well. Straight backed, with his jaw set. The perfect "poker" face, so to speak. Though, the ennui in his expression was evident. He had one hand grasping the end of the chair's arm, the other hand placed perfectly on his pale chin. The first thing Edgar noticed about his expression was his eyes, staring out the window at the sunny gardens behind them. The other thing Edgar noticed was the tired look Robin seemed to be holding. The office was warm, and this was tiring, very very tiring. As such, so was the speech Edgar was giving him. Robin knew what Edgar wanted to tell him. He was very well versed in the whole thing, he could probably quote it all. Now that his seventh year was beginning, Edgar was keeping an even closer eye on Robin. However much Robin had to remind his father that he would never touch a half blood, or never look at a mudblood with any other look than distaste, Edgar still felt it necessary to remind him.

Robin knew what this meant. He'd known from day one that Edgar didn't trust him. Day one was when he left for Hogwarts. Although he was accepted into Slytherin, although he was aware of the consequences and was very well friended with other Purebloods with beliefs much similar to his, Edgar still had his doubts. As if Robin would have the audacity to do such a thing. Robin would die before upsetting his family. "Robin?" Edgar asked again, pulling Robin from his daze. Robin's eyes flicked to meet his father, who was frowning in front of him. Robin was the spitting image of Edgar Travers. Tall, pale, fair haired with a pointed face and dark eyes. "I heard you," Robin assured him quietly, loosening the grip he had on the chair. He shifted his sitting position, holding one leg comfortable over his knee. His back cracked in three places, and it was now eminent to Robin just how long he had been sitting there. HIs back and his bottom both ached, and every time he inhaled his back would crack even more.

"You were saying that, as an adult Wizard, I now had magical consequences." Robin assured him, much to Edgar's pleasure. His face loosened a little, and he relaxed in his chair a little. "You were saying that if I were to perform illegal magic, I would be sent away at once. You were also saying I would be using illegal magic at one point in my life, if things go the way you want them to, and that I should keep myself in line and be more careful, until I am out of Hogwarts." Robin flashed his father a curt smile, and in turn, Edgar nodded. "Thats right. And the consequences if you are to fail?" Fail, the one word Edgar used far too often to his son. Robin hated failure, he couldn't do it. Everything he did had to be perfect. Everything he did had to be flawless, right down to his appearance.
Robin met his father's eyes, choosing to keep his expression as blank as he could. He said it with no tone to his voice, as emotionless as he could. Robin couldn't show Edgar the fear behind this statement, for he was very unsure whether Edgar would like this or not. "Death, naturally."
