Pirate howled shortly before taking off after him. He knew right where he was going and wound around so that he could overtake Vance and arrive at the clearing first. He stood there triumphantly, feeling that he'd gained back a little of his coolness. The notion of lying down with Vance was supreme and he didn't waste time gloating too much. He laid down and curved his body so that there was a perfect spot for Vance to do so as well.
