"She's bossy and kind of weird." It wasn't the most positive thing he could say, but that had been his first impression of the woman. "But I guess I feel better. I haven't noticed any differences just yet, but it hasn't been all that long. She says I can't expect miracles over night."
He headed down the stairs and out to the street. The neighborhood was really nice and even though there was a house full of vampires at his back, Morris felt really safe there. "Were you really going to call me tonight? What would you have said?"
