"I wish that I didn't have to, I wish that you could come with me," Andrew said softly as he buried his face in against Joshua's shoulder with a heavy sigh.
The idea of leaving Joshua behind was nearly unbearable. He'd never felt so intensely connected to someone else before, not even his own parents, and it was a little scary just how much he'd fallen for the other boy.
"Don't let Logan steal you away while I'm gone," he added with a smile, joking a little, but also partly serious.
