When Bernie started to pull away, Shiloh let her, though he definitely looked forlorn at the loss of her physical comfort.
"Because we're around you, that's why not," he told her simply, as if she could keep the both of them very smart and on par. He absolutely adored Bernie, and it was painfully obvious as he smiled at her softly.
