Lex Luthor is walking into the building from a dinner meeting, determined to get a few more items cleared off his desk before he goes home. As walks through the office, he notes that one light is still on, and peers in that direction, wondering who would still be here.
When he sees that it's Lois Lane, Lex actually smiles to himself.
He couldn't believe that Lois Lane, ace reporter, had left the Daily Planet, but he'd scooped her up the moment her application came in. He didn't even bother with the interview. Walking over to her desk, Lex looks down on her with an neutral expression.
"You're here late, Miss Lane. I'm used to being the only workaholic in the building after hours." he says.
"You /can/ go home now." he tells her.
