Arthur came out of his reverie at just the right time to look up and see Mera coming toward him. A small smile came to his face and the breath caught in his chest. Time slowed and a few seconds seemed impossibly long.
She never failed to be the most beautiful woman in the world and never failed to take his breath away.
He stood up and walked over to pull out the chair for her.
