THREE THINGS THAT SCARE ME: ◊ It's really, really, really silly and completely childish on top of everything but THE DARK. I mean, I can't stand it and I always get so nervous when I'm the last one up at night. I know there's likely nothing out to get me and that everything's the same as when the lights're on but that doesn't stop me from being afraid of climbing out of bed when it gets to be a certain hour.
◊ Being injured. Not just knicks and cuts and things but falling down and crushing bones or feeling a pain in my appendix. I think going to the Muggle doctor is really embarrassing, especially when they have you put on the little robe thing and sit there with, well. Your rear end getting all cold on the crinkly paper. I guess I'm shy? and I hate the idea of people probing and poking at me and the pain before all that's not okay either.
◊ Also, there's this whole. Sexuality. Thing. I've put off thinking about it and put off thinking about it but now I've been wondering what my mom will think, what my dad will say, if they'll treat me any different. If they'll be upset, or what. I understand I should be true to who I am and make sure I'm happy but they're my parents and I'd hate to upset them.
THREE PEOPLE WHO MAKE ME LAUGH: ◊ First and foremost, my mother! She's always got some clever thing to say and, even if she doesn't, her mannerisms make me smile sometimes.
◊ Oh, and Ginny.
◊ And Justin too!
THREE THINGS I LOVE: ◊ BUTTERSCOTCH, I can never get enough of butterscotch, it gets sort of thick and syrupy and sweet but there's that underlying butter flavor too and maybe that shouldn't go in candy but it's amazing.
◊ The sound of the rain, especially when I'm waking up to it.
◊ Flying. Not on a broom, necessarily. I mean in a plane where you can sit and relax and watch the clouds.
THREE THINGS I HATE: ◊ I don't HATE anything but I strongly dislike when someone picks on other people, especially when they've done nothing wrong to deserve being picked on.
◊ I also strongly dislike hot days without a fan.
◊ Oh, and running out of ink right when I have something very important to write down.
THREE THINGS I DON'T UNDERSTAND: ◊ Why there are some people in this world who aren't tolerant of anyone.
◊ Why the sky is blue.
◊ Why some itches are almost painful when you scratch them but you just. keep. scratching. because you want it gone.
THREE THINGS ON MY DESK: ◊ A slinky.
◊ A few rolls of parchment, stacked on some of my books.
◊ A slew of post-its telling me to do this and that.
