hohenheim and dante reunion

What: a reunion of sorts
Where: dublith
Time: the next afternoon

his scruffy appearance made him fall into the backdrop of the crowd and made him look like a regular old dublith townsperson.

"this place again..why do I keep returning is beyond me."

he rubbed his beard with his hand and sat down on a chair inside of a dublith pub that is remotely empty, waiting for someone to show up that he had made prior arrangements with.

"it's getting late, I wonder if she's going to show up or what.."

the bar maid asked him if he wanted anything to drink.

"gin and tonic please?"

Dante casually entered the pub/bar in Dublith where Hohenheim had been waiting for her. She was a tad out of breath as she slinked into the place and took a seat at the table beside him.

"You know, if our son knew I was meeting you here, he would more than likely plot to kill me. That's how much he despises you." Dante said and called the waitress over so she could order a beverage. When the young woman came over to their table, she ordered a scotch. After the woman left Dante returned her attention back to Hohenheim.

"She has a nice body, don't you think? Surely I would rather transfer to that and be more well rounded in the bust. At any rate, why have you asked me to come here? If it's about the stone, you can forget it. I'm not going to share it with you once I have it so you can stop asking me."

	"I think we should give things another try." he said bluntly. "You and I that is." He muses and takes a sip from his drink when the bar maid brings it to him. Her eyebrows furrowed at the blonde haired man's first sentence but by the time he was saying all he needed to, Dante gave him a bittersweet smile. "You still know all the right words to convince me into things. You were always good at that."

She reached across the table and took his hands into her own. "You know something, don't you? Something about the stone? Or you have it hiding somewhere? If that's the case, then yes. I shall gladly take you back. The only problem is..Envy. He will not be very pleased with all of this. You understand, don't you? We should keep this between us for the time being. I don't want him spoiling anything. You know how he flies off the handle whenever your name is mentioned. I'll send Envy to Central tomorrow and tell him that he needs to take care of a few things over there. That will give us time to be alone together without worrying about him sticking his nose where it doesn't belong."

	"he's going to find out about us sooner or later." he said and took another sip from his drink. "I know some things about the stone, a new stone. with that I plan on overthrowing the military. so tired of them and their little ego's." he smiles. "tomorrow, what about the other homonculi?" "Gluttony is off in Liore looking for Lust. I will send Sloth to Rizenbul to spy on Edward and Al and see what they are up to, and Greed is already at the Ishbal camps wreaking chaos. You don't need to worry about Wrath, he's naive and will believe in anything. He's no threat to you or I. We need to have some alone time together and..Get to know each other better again. It's been ages." Dante smiled darkly, downing her drink and leaned back in her chair.

"Your other sons are annoying..I want them destroyed, you know. I doubt they would want to help us take over Amestris. Unless we find some way to corrupt them. Edward's heart is too strong. We can try, but I doubt it will work. His brother is just as naive as Wrath, so he won't be hard to deal with, but Edward, he will be trouble."

	She smiled at Hohenheim. "Now there is the Hohenheim I once knew and loved. Now then, I must be going. I will see you tomorrow. Meet me here in the morning. Don't be late." She ordered and stood up to leave. She ruffled her lover's hair and walked out of the pub, returning to the mansion. (Reply to this)(Parent)
