Sneaking out of the mansion for a while

When: sometime in the evening
Where: Central

Summary: Wrath gets bored from being cooped up in the mansion, so he sneaks out to have some fun, go explore, ect
Warnings: I don't think so XD

Wrath sits on his bed, legs dangling over the edge. He knows that Dante isn't around and even though she probably wants him to stay at the mansion, he's beyond bored. He decides to go on a little adventure. He grabs Sloth's hooded cloak out of the closet and throws it on then makes his way out of the room and down the stairs. He checks to make sure that no one is watching him and takes off into the underground passage that leads to central. He's not looking for trouble, he's just tired of that old hag keeping him locked up all the time in that stuffy mansion and ordering him around. When he arrives in central, it's evening time and there aren't very many people around. The young homonculi begins to wander around, having no particular destination in mind. He walks over to a nearby building and climbs up it's fire escape then sits on the ledge of the building, watching the people pass below.

Ed's been wandering around Central all day. Al was constantly bugging him about cleaning the dorm and seeing the Colonel--who he refused to see for health reasons, so he'd taken to wandering around the city, bored. He'd found himself in an alley way just as night was closing in when he spotted the younger homonculi sitting on top of the roof.

Without attracting attention to himself or Wrath, Ed climbed the fire escape and was careful not to overly startle him before saying quietly, "You shouldn't really hang around on roof tops when people want you dead."

	Wrath's eyes widen when he hears the voice from behind him. He stands up and turns to see Edward. "Oh? And who wants me dead?" He asks, keeping his distance from Edward. "Are you still sour about this arm and this leg?" He asks with a grin and laughs softly. "It was an exchange, remember?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Ed's face screws up at that. "I didn't exchange it so that a monster like you could be born." He growled out as he took a step towards Wrath, making it obvious that he wasn't intimidated by the homonculi. "Why aren't you hiding like the rest of them?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He snickers and shakes his head. "And also, that wasn't my fault for being born. If Izumi never would have tried to perform a human transmutation I wouldn't exist. You have her to thank for that. I can't help the fact that someone else created me." He says then stops. "Who said anything about hiding? There are others out and about. Some in Dublith, some in Liore...Rizenbul....I just decided to come here because it was convenient for me." He explains and shoves his hands into the pockets of his cloak. He smiles at Edward and lets out a small sigh. "Are you ever going to stop hating me?"

	"I never asked you to like me. I asked if you were ever going to stop hating me. Why waste your time hating someone when you can put that time towards doing something else? I'm not as bad as you think I am." He says with a shrug and really doesn't want to fight. The only reason why he came here to Central was to get away from the mansion for a while. 	"Why bother not hating you? It's not I'll have to waste a lot of time about it once you're dead." Ed answer's clam enough for him, though his blade is still held ready just in case. "I really don't want to fight with you..." Wrath says and looks away. "I just came out here to get away from everything. I have no intentions of hurting or fighting with anyone. Honestly."</i> He admits and brushes a few of his dark locks away from his eyes. "If I was going to fight you, I would have done it already. You know it's not a wise idea to be fighting someone like me on your own anyways, so why even bother?" He asks and shrugs slightly.

	"I'm not angry all the time." He says with a half smile and looks down for a moment. "Have you talked to Izumi lately?" He asks, curious as to what she had been up to. 	Ed couldn't say he wasn't surprised by the question. Izumi Curtis was his teacher, but he hadn't talked to her often since leaving her care. However, he had just spent a few days with her. "I saw her a few days ago. She's still sick." Ed didn't change his arm back yet, just in case. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Oh..." He says in a small voice. He wonders what Dante is doing right now and if she's back at the mansion yet. He doesn't want to return back to that place. What he wants to do is to go find his Mother, but that's out of the question. "I should be going. If Dante finds out that I left without her permission and I've been here, she'll probably end up killing me." Wrath says as a few more strands of hair fall down infront of his eyes. He enjoyed his free time in Central, but now he had to return to that hell again. He hated the very thought of being ruled over by that old hag, but he didn't really have a say in the matter.

	Ed hesitates before he says anything. "You know you don't have to go back to her." He can't believe what he's saying, but continues anyway, "You could have protection if you stayed." He looks at Edward in question, his violet eyes locking with Ed's golden ones. "You know I can't do that...As much as I'd like to seek refuge here away from that place, I can't. If I were to stay here, they would eventually come for me. I can't stay here because if they did come, they would rip this place apart and probably end up killing a lot of innocent people in the process. That and like you said, I'm a sin..I'm a monster..And a long with being a sin comes the burden of never being able to be accepted by humans. A part of me wishes that I was never created in the first place and I keep wondering why the hell am I here, what is my purpose anyways? I keep reaching dead ends with that." He explains then shrugs.

"It would be nice..To lead a normal life. I'm not saying that yours is normal by any means. We all go through our own share of turmoil and pain. But being like this is..Not what I wanted. Then again, we never really get what we want out of life, do we?" He asks and lets out a small quiet sigh as a single tear slips down his cheek. "Life is what you make of it. You should be happy that you're human instead of like this. I never wanted to be like this. I never wanted to be ordered around by someone, but this is my fate in which I have no say in. It's the hand of cards that I've been dealt with and now I have to play up to them. It's ironic in a way. Hoping for the best but in the end it turns out to be complete shit." Wrath says and laughs softly. It's not a laugh of humor though, more like one filled with sorrow or a bittersweet one. "Take care of yourself.." He says and turns to go.

	Ed doesn't reach out to physically stop him, but he does try with words. "That's a load of bullshit. You are the only one who gets to decide what you do with your life. Fate is a load of crap and doesn't exist. You make the decisions that lead your life where it goes. If you'd had stayed with Izumi...you wouldn't have to worry about them coming to get you." "You really think so, do you? I doubt that would have worked out. Considering that Dante was after all the one that taught Izumi everything she knows. Dante and the others would have learned about my existence sooner or later and if I didn't go willingly, they would have taken me by force and probably would have killed Izumi just for the hell of it. Don't you get it? If I go a long with their plans and what they have to say, they'll keep away from her. But if I don't..Then she's probably going to be the first target they go after. I can't do that to her. I can't put her in danger like that. It would be selfish of me."

Wrath looked away for a mere second before looking at Edward. "Dante needs to be stopped. I can't do it on my own..But I know she needs to be stopped before she continues on with her plan about the stone. I don't know every detail about her it, but I do know that it has something to do with taking complete rule over everything... It's not just about body switching anymore. She's also working with someone else...I don't know who it is exactly, but I overheard her talking on the phone earlier this morning."

	Ed stares at Wrath for a full minute before completely understanding what he says. "You want to play double agent?" He asks in a surprised voice. It wasn't that he didn't think Wrath was telling the truth, he seemed the most innocent of all the sins though not nearly innocent enough, but the fact that he was willing to help...well, it was shocking. 	Ed bounced on the balls of his feet as he tried to think as quickly as he could. "You should meet with the Colonel. I think he could find usefulness in the things you could say even more than I could. Whenever you next get a chance to get out of the mansion, come here. Ed watches Wrath vanishes and wonders if what's just passed is a good thing or bad. Surely the bastard Colonel will think it's good, so perhaps that was good. But Al was going to beat the shit out of him for talking to one of the homonculi on his own. He sighed and transmuted his arm back to normal. He should go report to said Colonel...maybe this would make up for his early fuck up.

	Wrath took off back to the mansion and luckily he had arrived way before Dante got home. He went to his room and thought about everything that had recently happened then made a plan to learn more about Dante's plot and sneak back to Central when Dante was gone the next time. Ed had managed to convince the annoying Colonel that it indeed was a good idea to keep someone watching that building where Wrath had been. He and Al had also agreed that for the time being, they'd stay in Central as long as they could while they researched the books in the library so that they themselves could meet Wrath should he get a chance to escape. It really wasn't fair of them to hand the angry Sin off to one of Mustang's soldiers who had no idea what they were dealing with, after all.
