Radley smiled as he carried Lucy's bag to the rendevous point. He was glad that she was coming along with him, even if she hadn't broke up with Mason. He wrapped an arm around her and kissed her forehead. "I think that you'll really like Charlie. He'd have to be good to get Draco to settle. Right?"

Charlie liked how nervous and pouty Draco seemed to be about the whole camping thing. It was adorable, really. He leaned in and kissed him softly. "Calm down. You'll be sleeping in a tent with me. It's not that horrible, is it?" He asked, putting the tents on top of the truck he'd borrowed from Bill. "It'll be fun. And you'll have friends here."

Rooney was carrying both his bags and Thoreau's. Plus, Joey had demanded that she be able to go with them. Something about needing the life experience in case she ever got lost in the woods. He glanced down at her, then at Thoreau and grinned. "We're going to have a lot of fun. I promise. She's used to being around drunk people, at least."

Pansy chewed at her bottom lip and glanced at Theodore. "We were invited as a couple. I figured it was only appropriate if we go as one. Even if it's as friends. Have you ever been camping before?" She asked, smoothing her dress down.

Lucy laughed at that. "Or he'd just have to be really good in bed," she said. "To keep him from fluttering around with ever other boy he meets. I'm looking forward to this. It'll be fun to do something normal like get drunk in the woods."

Draco gave Charlie an unimpressed look as he loaded the tents onto the top of the truck. "I have to sleep in a tent," he said. "Outside, in the woods, where anything could just come by and grab me."

Thoreau snorted at that. "Somebody should stay half-way sober," he said. But Joey seemed very happy to be coming along with them, so he wasn't going to complain. He held on to her hand as they walked, since Rooney was carrying their bags. Thoreau looked down at her. "Or can you handle being the responsible one?"

Theodore wasn't sure what to make of Pansy inviting him on the camping trip. They weren't back together, even after the sex they'd had, and Pansy had been fairly clear about this being a trip as friends, but still. It was probably a good sign. "No," he said. "I have vacation homes. I've never really understood the appeal of going and sleeping in a tent in the woods when I could be in Spain." He'd worn khakis and a polo shirt. That seemed like camp clothing to him.

Radley snorted at that. "I'm not sure that getting drunk in the woods is a normal thing. But, yeah. Hopefully the signal goes out on people's phones and we won't have to worry about Gossip Girl."

"The only thing that's going to be grabbing you is me." Charlie assured him, leaning in and kissing him. He wrapped his arms around his waist and pulled him close, then kissed him again, deeply.

"I don't need a babysitter. I packed all of my snacks by myself." Joey pointed out. "Dad didn't realise that packing me lunch meat where we wouldn't have a refrigerator wasn't a good idea."

Rooney frowned at that. "Oi. You said you weren't going to tell on me. Twat."

"Sorry, Dad. Someone has to keep me alive." Joey replied, then walked on ahead of them.

Pansy nodded, hitching her bag up on her shoulder. "Well. It'll be something we'll have to experience together. Since we have to share a tent and everything."

"Getting drunk in the woods is totally normal," Lucy said, waving a hand dismissively. "And fun. I wish Neville was coming, but it's still going to be fun." She hooked her arm through Radley's, looking up at him. "They all think I'm Gossip Girl. Nobody ever told you that? Gossip Girl never writes about me, so they assume I'm her."

Draco laughed against Charlie's lips, kissing him back and wrapping his arms around his neck. "You don't know that. I'm not saying you're not going to be doing most of the grabbing. I'm just also anticipating something else grabbing me too. Something rabid. A badger or a fox or a monster."

Thoreau looked up at Rooney, raising an eyebrow at him as he laughed at Joey. "Have I told you how much I like your daughter recently?" he asked. "I have a ton of food in my bag. Nobody's going to go hungry. Have you ever had a s'more? I made graham crackers and marshmallows so we could have them tonight."

"Do you want me to carry your bag?" Theo asked, after watching Pansy with it for a moment. He was a gentleman, no matter what other people thought. What Pansy thought, mostly. "If we don't like camping, I can always call my driver."

Radley arched a brow at that and glanced down at Lucy. "I don't think that you're that vengeful, I guess." He told her as he looked down at her. "Are you Gossip Girl?"

"Really? A badger?" Charlie asked with a snort. "I know they're ferocious beasts and all, but Jesus, Draco." He laughed and pulled back, finishing packing up the things when a little girl came over. He smiled at her and picked her up. "Josephine, my beauty queen."

"Stuff it, Weasel." Joey turned to glanced at Draco, sizing him up. "The only animal you have to worry about grabbing you. Weasels. Stop being a pussy."

"Yeah. I've had one. Who hasn't?" Rooney asked with a grin. "You better not have some gourmet fucking chocolate and ruin my experience." He kissed him quickly and grinned.

"No. It's okay. I have it." Pansy told him, glancing around for where they were supposed to meet. "I don't think it'd be very nice to bail on camping with our friends."

"No," Lucy said, laughing at the idea of her being Gossip Girl. "Fuck, are you kidding? I don't care about any of them enough to dedicate my life to ruining theirs. And I definitely don't dislike Draco enough to do what Gossip Girl did to him last year. He's my brother."

Draco did not like children. He eyed the little girl for a moment. "You belong to Thoreau's boyfriend, right?" Having a kid along on the camping trip was definitely going to cut into the fun.

"I have good quality chocolate," Thoreau said dismissively. "I brought milk and dark so you can take your pick." He kissed Rooney again and then walked over to where Draco and Joey were sizing each other up. "Do you know if Pansy decided she was going to bring Theo tonight?"

"If we don't like it, we shouldn't have to stay for the whole thing," Theo said, shaking his head. He spotted everyone standing around a truck and sighed. It looked rustic. He caught the tail end of Thoreau's question. "Yes," he said. "She did decide to bring me."

"I didn't think it was possible for anyone to hate anyone that much." Radley shook his head as he looked down at Lucy. "The stuff she said about Draco was super harsh. I've never really thought about who Gossip Girl would be."

Joey looked Draco over carefully and frowned at him. "Yes. I do." She informed him. "I'm also Charlie's God Child. Problem, bro?" She arched a brow.

Rooney came over to where Charlie was and snorted softly. "Well. Hello, Draco." He held out his hand. "It's nice to meet you."

Pansy glanced at Theo for a moment, then blushed a bit. She was still embarrassed about the things that she and Rooney had done together with Thoreau. "I didn't have another date."

"People talk about her at school all the time, trying to figure out who she is." Lucy shrugged. "I don't think I really care. She doesn't bother me now, but if I start poking around, she might change her mind about that." She looked up at Radley. "Where are we meeting?"

"Hi," Draco said, shaking Rooney's hand, eyes still on Joey. Charlie's God child. That was going to make disliking her more difficult. "It's nice to see you again." He looked at Pansy and Theo when they arrived, moving away from the child, closer to them. "I'm glad you came at all, Pans."

Thoreau could see Pansy blushing and he was pretty sure he knew what it was about. She had a very dirty video of her and him and his boyfriend on her phone. "I'm glad you decided to come too," he said, and then glanced at Theo. "Even if I'm still not thrilled with you, Theo."

Radley stopped and looked over at where everyone was standing. Where Thoreau and his brother were standing. He froze. "Over there." He said slowly, then frowned. "Thoreau and Rooney are here."

"Leave Theodore alone. He didn't do anything that the rest of us wouldn't have." Pansy said, suddenly feeling defensive on Theo's part. "Hello Josephine."

Joey frowned at Pansy for a moment. She hated when people called her Josephine. "Hello, Miss Parkinson. It's nice to see you again."

Lucy paused, looking at Thoreau and Rooney for a moment and then glancing up at Radley. "We don't have to go camping if you don't want to go," she said. "If you're not comfortable, you're not comfortable."

Theodore eyed Thoreau for a moment. "Pansy's forgiven me for texting gossip girl," he said. "Don't you think you should too?"

"I don't know," Thoreau said, shrugging. "It was a really shitty thing for you to do, Theo. You're my best friend, but I love her. She was my girlfriend for a long time." He leaned in and kissed Pansy's cheek. "I'm happy you're here. We're all going to have fun and relax tonight."

Draco wasn't so sure of that. He walked back to Charlie, leaning against him. "This is going to be a very dramatic camping trip."

"No. It's... fine." Radley took a deep breath and looked down at her. "I'm happy to be here with you. I'm not ashamed of it or anything. It'll just be kind of awkward. Come on, love."

"Reau. Stop." Rooney looked down at him and shook his head. "Theodore was mad she broke him. I'd have been upset too. You probably would have done the same thing." He kissed him softly. "Did the two of you bring a tent?"

Pansy looked up at Theodore. "Did you bring a tent?"

Charlie rolled his eyes. "Don't you be dramatic. It won't be that bad. We'll all make it through it." He kissed him softly. "And if not, you and I will just go out into the woods together."
