"No one said we were innocent, Longbottom," Theodore said, leaning against the door to block Neville's exit. "I'm sure we've all sent things to you. Back-stabbed our friends. Pansy knows I sent you the blast about her and Thoreau sleeping together. I'm sure Thoreau sent several nasty things about the two of us when we went behind his back. Pansy is queen of the school for a reason. We accept each other for who we are. We don't accept you, and Daphne certainly won't be impressed."
"I get why you did it before," Thoreau said, putting his glass down. "Kind of. I get why it wouldn't matter to you what what you said about us did to our lives. We didn't know each other. But I thought you were my friend, Neville. What is warning me that you're going to put the video up supposed to do for me? The only point of sending me that message was to assuage your own guilt about screwing me and Pansy over the same way you screwed Draco."
