I wasn't sure whether to post this in

necroholic or here but this seems like more sensible place for it.

ICON TRUTH MEME

RULES:
1. Comment with your username, a few icons to see your work, and people will comment with what they feel about your icons.

I think you're really good with textures and coloring and cropping. The only one you've provided with legible text bothers me because the text looks stretched, though I don't know if that's the font... but yeah. XD I was taught to never alter fonts via stretching, good ol' design classes.

I really like the second one from the left on the second row, it's so cute. Also, boobies. Omnomnom.

I suck so much at text. I complain about it often. I've always done text in icons for... 8 years now and I still can't get it? It's so frustrating. That icon was probably due to the height size. It looks like a default font like Garamond/Georgia with half it's original height and spread out, so probably 50 height/100 width/ 100 spacing, sort of thing. I have so many fonts and just can't use them. Which is why I suck at icontests like

animechorus 8D

That DMG one is the one everyone loves (including myself). It's the only time I ever got to use that texture perfectly. I've had it forever too~

... and yes, boobies. *_* I tend to make a lot of icons with those.

Thank you! I'm actually still trying to recreate the first one for an icon tutorial request. I never realized I can get crazy with the textures. I know I provided most of the textures used in it in this comment if you were curious.

I have always been envious on how bold your icons are. You're able to use textures and colors in a way i never really could. Your Dark Magician Girl icon, second on the second row, was the most recent to take me by surprise with its beautiful, though subtle colors and bold feel. I love it and I love your graphics. ♥
