Itachi ignored the parting words also. He wasn't interested in that.

If the kid was a photography major and didn't have classes in this particular building, what were his reasons to seek Itachi out to irritate him? If he'd had an assignment specifically to seek Itachi out, why not approach him differently? And why hadn't Itachi been told by the professor? And if it wasn't for an assignment, what would he need a picture for anyway.

He tipped his chin up, eyebrows raising slightly.

Itachi was curious. "I'm not obligated to take any interest in any one." He crossed his arms thoughtfully. "Especially in someone outside of my department."

What kind of 'sometime' photography student takes a picture on a cellphone anyway? He'd never seen a photography department that didn't loan out nice cameras to its students. It backed up his theory that the kid was a lost cause but he could tell that the kid wasn't stupid-he had too much a vocabulary to have a questionable IQ.

So what then? Well, he certainly wasn't going to ask straight out. He could assume that would just win him another smart ass remark.

Maybe the kid wasn't as useless and strange as Itachi thought. It was possible that he was mistaking boredom for idiocy. And creative people are often bored. Maybe the kid was just being a brat because he needed a push.

"Do you have a 'Sometimes' Minor?"
