Henry Pym cursed and hastily put away the beakers and solutions from the project he was working on. It was fortunate he wasn't working with very delicate, very explosive chemicals today. He really should have brought an alarm to remind him of the time, it was too easy to lose oneself in the experiment.

Pym removed his latex gloves and opened the door. "Mr. Van Dyne," He said, forcing a smile onto his face. "Welcome. I am Dr. Henry Pym."

He did his best not to look at the beautiful young woman beside Vernon Van Dyne. It was likely she was either a relative or a very young love interest and in either case he didn't want to upset the source of his funding."

"Dr. Pym," Vernon greets. He gestures to his daughter. "This is my daughter, Janet."

"Charmed," Janet smiles at him. Huh. This nerd-boy is actually cute! Boring, obviously, but cute.

"I trust I'm not interrupting anything important," Vernon says, stepping inside. "I don't wish to take too much of your time..."

"Not at all." Pym said, lying through his teeth. "Is there anything in particular you would like to see or should I walk you through the whole lab?"

"What are you working on right now?" Vernon asks, moving to where Hank had been standing before. Janet gives Pym a sympathetic eyeroll.

As Vernon begins going through every thing he can in the lab, Janet begins to grow increasingly bored... and visibly so.

"Excuse me..." she finally interrupts. "I need to go powder my nose. Which way to the little girl's room?"

Hank Pym twitched at the sight of the man standing so close to his work. God forbid he touch the wrong thing and...

Breathe, Hank, breathe.

"Right down the hall, second door on the left." He said, pointing in the direction of the exit.

"And ah, Mr. Van Dyne, I would be..." Funding. "Glad to show you. The test tubes you see happen to contain some very sensitive chemicals." Pym proceeded to walk Mr. Van Dyne through a very complicated explanation of the workings of biochemistry. To anyone without a doctorate in the sciences it was almost complete gibberish.

Vernon, however, seems to focus on everything Pym says, listening carefully.

Janet, however, steps down the hall, and goes into the second door on the right.

Oh, pooh, Jan... she thinks to herself as she steps into a bedroom, on the left, not on the right. She turns to go back out, then pauses. She turns back, a mischievous grin on her face.

A bedroom in his lab? She turns back into the bedroom, smirking.

Well, Dr. Pym... let's see... boxers or briefs? And please not tighty-whities... She moves to the closet to see what she can find.

She opens the closet, and freezes, her jaw dropping.

She recognizes that helmet. The new super-hero in town, the Ant-Man, uses that exact helmet.

She closes the closet door, turns, and leaves the room, stepping across the hall to the bathroom. She shuts the bathroom door behind her and lets out several deep breaths.
