Could it be possible the information is somehow out already somewhere? No, it couldn't be. The fact she doesn't say anything - doesn't even react - tells him he's dealing with a pro on several levels. He's dealing with a pro with Bond girl level grace and a gun to match. When in a Bond movie, do as Sean Connery would do.
....
....
The sun is coming up again. He stirs and stretches like a cat. He's too relaxed to be pissed at himself for falling asleep.
She's gone before he wakes up. It had been a nice night/day, but he was a job. The less time spent close to him the better.
He looks at his PDA. She did try something on it. Good attempt, too.
He lies back on the pillow, listening to the sounds outside and feeling very mortal again, though not in the depressed "heavy is the crown" way he has been. It's more like...thoughtful, maybe a little grateful even though there is a shitstorm on the horizon. Focused, probably not much of a life outside of the job, very good at smacking around people that need to be smacked, double life...They could have been friends. He doesn't have friends that don't work for him. Eventually, all technology is going to be superseded and every soldier out-gunned.
The Stark scion had people. Tony and Iron Man both needed friends.
