Lavinia was not happy with her father at all, but she was also feeling pretty guilty. She was the one who'd pushed Merlin at Draco as soon as Draco had broken up with his latest fling. Maybe there had been some other factors involved in Merlin being thrown out of the house, but it wasn't
fair and some of it was definitely on her. Plus, was this what she had to look forward to if she decided she was going to be with a woman instead of a man? Pyxis may not want to be her girlfriend, but maybe there'd be another girl down the road.
She showed up at the Malfoys and her uncle let her in and told her Merlin was staying with Draco. At least her brother was getting laid. That had to be some small comfort to him. Lavinia knocked on the door to the room, and then peeked inside, sighing when she saw Merlin reclined on the bed, reading. "It's nice to know that even getting kicked out of the house can't stop you from working."
