Narcissa was not expecting Evan to actually put that much effort into the date. She assumed it would mostly be the two of them hanging out without Christina around, but when she opened the door to the house he was dressed up and he'd combed his hair and had flowers.
She blinked at him in surprise. "I'm glad I changed my dress," she said, laughing and looking down at herself. "You look lovely. Did you buy me flowers?"
