"Sex is easy to find," Thoreau said dismissively, shaking his head. "If you want to shag someone I can take you out and get you whatever you want. It's easy."
Merlin didn't get it, obviously. "That's a different kind of pain. I mean like..." Thoreau pulled his sleeve up, showing Merlin the rope burns and bruises on his arm. "This kind of pain."
