Walden and Pyxis were dating now and he couldn't be happier. They met up for lunch at school and walked home together when their classes ended at the same time. They cooked their vegan dinners together and he knew his gran and his mum were very happy when he told them he and Pyxis were officially dating. Plus, Dudley and Romy actually seemed really happy together so it was easy for Walden to be happy for them. He and Pyxis were much better together than any other combination had been anyway.
Sometimes, usually Tuesdays and Thursdays, Walden's classes ran later than Pyxis's. Today was Thursday, but he'd picked up some sweet potato crisps for them on the way home and they had a new documentary to watch on his laptop. It was going to be nice. A quiet date night in. Walden opened the door to the flat and found Pyxis rolling around on the floor with Rider Macnair, who had on some very tight trousers.
Rider was just trying to get Pyxis to watch his sex tape with her brother. There was nothing wrong with that. Pyxis kept acting like he'd asked her to lick his foot or something though. "Stop being such a twat!" he demanded, pinning her beneath him. "I only want your opinion."
