Romy was kind of excited. It was the weekend and she and Dudley were being visited by her brother Radley and sister Laney. It was going to be good. They could meet Dudley and she could take Laney to get her hair done or something. Or roll around in the mud. Whatever it was that Laney did. She smiled to herself a bit as they waited in the diner for them. "I'm excited for them to get here." She admitted. "Aren't you excited, Big D?"

Radley had an arm wrapped around Laney with a grin as he walked down the street with her and his girlfriend in tow. He glanced at Lucy and smiled. "I think you'll like Romy. She comes off as clean and bubbly, but she's really not. Right, Laney?"

Calling him Big D was a new thing Romy did and Dudley loved it. He beamed at her, leaning in to give her a kiss. "I'm really excited," he promised. "I can't wait to meet your brother and sister. I'm sure they're just at great as you are. Well, maybe not quite as great, but close."

Laney looked up at Radley and shrugged. "I don't know. She's a bit... Maybe she's not clean, but she's definitely bubbly. She does like to go out dancing a lot. She's like... I don't know. She's nice though. She's definitely nice."

Lucy snorted at that, raising an eyebrow at Laney and then looking up at Radley. "I don't know what to think now."

"Radley is nicer than Rooney is. He's more... sociable, I suppose." Romy told him, sliding her hand into his. "Rooney was raised by my Daddy, so he's lacking in social skills. But, my mum was really great with Radley."

Radley snorted at that and rolled his eyes. "Laney here has a thing against her because Romy is a bit girly. And she makes Laney girly too. That's all." He held onto Lucy's hand. "I'm sure you'll like her."

Dudley smiled at Romy. "I'm sure we'll get along then. I like meeting your family. I know how much you like them." He leaned in and kissed her softly. "I just want to show them that I'm a good match for you."

Lucy looked up at Radley and nodded. "I'm a bit girly," she agreed. She was basically wearing lingerie. That made her girly. "I'm sure she's fine. Even if she's not, I can managed a day in the name of getting along with your half-sister."

"I'm sure they'll love you. I do." Romy pointed out, then twirled in her dress a bit. "Oh. There they are!" She saved at them a bit, smiling.

Radley laughed and reached down, taking Lucy's hand into his own. "That's them. See. She's not so bad, right?" He walked up to Romy and picked her up, spinning her around. "Hullo there."

Romy's brother was huge, but Dudley had kind of been expecting that. All her other ones were too. Her sister was one of the too skinny, tall girls, which also made a lot of sense. He took a gamble and held his hand out to the brunette. "Hi, you must be Laney. I'm Dudley. Dudley Dursley."

Laney had not expected Romy's boyfriend to be a slightly pudgy albino-looking boy. She smiled at him, shaking his hand. "It's nice to meet you, Dudley. Don't mind Radley. He'll put her down in a second."

Radley laughed and put Romy down, kissing her forehead. "Sorry, mate. I'm Radley." He held out his hand to the boy. "Romy and I get on quite well. You'll have to pass my test today."

Romy swatted at Radley's arm. "Shut up. There's no test. Big D is the one for me." She informed him, then looked at the pale girl. "Hello. I'm Romy. You must be Radley's girlfriend Lucy."

Dudley smiled again when Romy called him Big D, shaking Radley's hand. "It's nice to meet you," he said. "Romy's been telling me all about you and her sister. I've been looking forward to this.'

Lucy nodded, looking Romy over as she shook her hand. "It's nice to meet you," she said. "Radley was just telling me he thought we'd get along. I hope we do."

"Yeah. Of course we will." Romy agreed and then looked at Laney. She reached out and touched her hair, then smiled. "You look very beautiful today, Laney. I like that flannel shirt." She kissed her cheek and then pulled back.

"Shall we go in and have lunch?" She asked as she opened the door for everyone.

Radley walked into the diner and looked at Dudley. "Big D? Do you have a big dick or something?"

Laney always felt a bit judged by her sister. She sighed, walking into the diner and finding a table in the corner that was big enough for all of them to sit in. "I'm going to get a burger and fries. I'm starving."

Dudley looked up at Radley, laughing a bit. "I don't know," he said. "It's not small. It's just something Romy calls me. I think it's cute."

"You should. I want a burger too." Romy told Laney with a smile. "I've been living with Pyxis and she doesn't eat meat. So, I always feel like I'm starving or something. You know?"

Radley snorted at that and nodded. "She comes up with nicknames sometimes. So does her brother. I've been called Boo Radley almost all my life because of him."

"I wouldn't be able to handle not eating meat," Laney said, shaking her head. "If I'm not eating constantly I lose weight like crazy. I'd be a skeleton in a couple weeks without meat."

"Oh yeah? I met Thoreau. He was nice," Dudley said, smiling at Radley. "I like my nickname. I think more people should call me Big D."

Lucy sat beside Radley in the diner, laughing at Dudley. "I think every boy dreams of being called Big D at some point in their life."

"I'm a Macnair at heart. I can't live without meat either." Romy told her, shaking her head. "I tried to when I was dating Walden, but I was sneaking hamburgers and stuff when I went home. I wish I had your metabolism. I gain weight so easily."

Radley snorted at that and wrapped an arm around Lucy. "You can call me Big something later." He told her, then kissed her softly.

Lucy kissed Radley back, snorting against his lips, then looked between Dudley and Romy. "So how long have you two been going out?" she asked. "You seem settled."

Dudley thought about it for a moment, looking at Romy. "It feels like we've known each other longer than we have, I guess. We've been friends for a while. When we were dating other people, we were friends, but friends who fancied each other a bit."

Romy nodded at that. "It was bad of us to do, but we couldn't help ourselves. I'd say we've been together for a month, officially. But, it feels like it's been longer than that."

Radley glanced at Lucy for a moment. "That's about how long it's been for us." Right after Thoreau had dumped him. "How is Thoreau doing these days?"

Romy shrugged. "He's fine, I suppose. He's going around with Rooney getting into safe trouble."

Laney wasn't sure if Radley wanted to hear Thoreau was fine or not, after being dumped by him. "Well, it doesn't sound like all that much has changed with him if he's still going around with Rooney," she said, glancing at Radley and Lucy. "Thoreau didn't want to come visit?"

Dudley felt like maybe he was missing something. "Well, Romy just wanted me to meet her other siblings," he told Laney. "That's all."

Romy glanced at Dudley, who looked a bit clueless about the situation. She slid her hand into his under the table and smiled at him. "Thoreau and Radley were dating for a while. That's all." She told him, then looked at Lucy. "So, you live in Surrey as well?"

Radley frowned for a moment, then glanced at Laney. "That bloke at the bar is checking you out, Lanes."

"Uh, yeah," Lucy agreed, glancing at Radley. He'd told her he and his boyfriend had broken up, but the fact that his boyfriend was also his brother hadn't come up in conversation. "I go to school with Radley and Laney."

Laney gave Radley a confused look and then glanced at the bar. "Blokes don't check me out," she told him. Was this some kind of hint? Maybe Radley was telling her to fuck off.

"I love Surrey. Dudley is actually from Surrey too." Romy told her with a small smile. "His ex dragged him here and I'm quite happy about that. I'm sure you're happy to be with Radley. He's great."

Radley smiled at Laney and shook his head. "No. Really. Someone is checking you out." He got up from the table and took her head, leading his sister over to the bar. "I hadn't told Lucy about Thoreau yet."

Lucy was still a bit weirded out by the news that her boyfriend's previous relationship had been with his brother, but she was trying not to make a big deal out of it. "Surrey's okay," she agreed. "I'm going to move to London once college is done. I'm a musician."

Laney raised an eyebrow at Radley. "You hadn't told her you'd been with a boy before you were with or, or that that boy was your half-brother? I assumed you'd told her everything. You two spend all your time together now."

"A musician? That's really cool. I don't know any musicians." Romy smiled at that and looked at Dudley. "Do you know any musicians?"

Radley ran a hand through his hair and sighed. "Telling your girlfriend of only a month that you slept with your half brother is a bit taboo, Lanes."

Dudley shook his head. "I got a guitar and a drum kit for Christmas once, but I never really learned to play them. Too much practice. I got bored," he said. "What kind of music? Romy and I are really into music."

"Like rock music," Lucy told Dudley, not quite sure she believed he was really into music. "The Runaways are a big influence for me. I mean, Joan Jett is a goddess and I love Cherie Curie's look."

"Well, I've never slept with my half-brother so I don't really know the etiquette as well as you do," Laney said. "I thought you would have mentioned something because it's taboo. He's our brother. Lucy was probably going to meet him eventually and you know Thoreau. He'll see you with someone else and he'll start touching you in non-brotherly ways."

Believe it or not, Romy actually knew those bands from years of spending time with Rider. She looked her over and smiled. "You'd really like my brother Rider and my cousin Pyxis. That's the kind of music they like as well. My dad met Joan Jett once."

Radley sighed at that and nodded. "Yeah. I know. I just... I don't know." He touched her hair. "There really was a bloke checking you out, Lanes. I think I scared him away."

"Really?" Lucy asked, leaning forward and grinning at Romy. "That's amazing. I'd love to meet her. Maybe if I really get my career off the ground. She's my idol." She shook her head. "My band is still pretty shit right now, but we're working on it."

Laney snorted at that. "I don't believe you," she said, pattering Radley on his arm. "Look, Lucy's great. She kind of looks like an anorexic raccoon sometimes, but she's great. She had to learn the truth at some point and now it's come out and you can tell her everything."

"You should come to London, definitely. There are a lot more musicians to choose from here than Surrey." Romy assured Lucy. "Radley can play the guitar. Did he tell you that? And my other brother Rider plays the drums, but he's doing this porn thing now."

"I swear. I wouldn't lie to you about that." Radley told her, then kissed her forehead and led her back to the table. "Sorry. I had to talk to Laney."

Lucy looked up at Radley. She was still a little weirded out by the brother thing, but she really liked Radley. They could go into detail about it later. "Your sister was just telling me that you play guitar and that her other brother is in porn."

"Porn?" Laney repeated, glancing at Romy. "Which brother?" She was hoping that it wasn't Thoreau. It sounded like a Thoreau thing to do.

"Rider. He's dating Rex now and Rex got him into it." Romy rolled her eyes a bit. "I don't agree with his choice, but I love him. So, I won't say too much against him."

"Wait. Rider is a fag?" Radley laughed delightedly, pulling out his phone. "Reau owes me so much money."

Laney snorted at that, kicking Radley lightly under the table. "Don't say fag. With the way Rider's always going on about tits it was kind of obvious he was compensating for something though."

Radley held Lucy's hand as they entered the Macnair house and took a look around for Thoreau. He looked down at Lucy and sighed a bit. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." He kissed her forehead.

"It's kind of complicated, you know?" He squeezed her hand. "You don't want to break up, do you?"

Lucy looked up at Radley for a moment, then shook her hand. "No," she said. "I mean, I think I get why you didn't tell me anything about him before now, even if I wish you had. You did tell me your last relationship was with a boy and it ended rough, so it's not like you were keeping total secrets."

"Boo?" Nobody had told Thoreau Radley was visiting today. He would have put more clothes on instead of wandering around in sweats. He would have made himself presentable. "What are you doing here?" Who was his scary looking goth friend?

Radley turned to look at Thoreau. He was only wearing sweats, which was actually kind of sexy. But, he wasn't going to think anything of it, because Lucy was right there beside him. He gave him a smile.

"Laney and I came to meet Dudley. So, we're taking a couple of days off and staying here." Radley admitted. "Lucy, this is Thoreau. My brother. Thoreau, this is my girlfriend Lucy."

"Girlfriend?" Thoreau didn't mean to sound do surprised, but... well, it was kind of surprising, wasn't it? Radley dating a girl? He looked at Lucy for a moment, then at Radley, then held his had out to the girl. "It's nice to meet you, Lucy."

Lucy could see why Radley had dated his half-brother, even if the incest thing was weird. Thoreau was pretty and he was fit, even if apparently he liked to wrestle rocks or something because he had all sorts of bruises along his sides and on his arms and shoulders. "You too," she said. "Radley was just telling me about you."

Thoreau wasn't sure how he felt about watching Radley kiss someone else. He chewed on his bottom lip for a moment, then looked around and shrugged. "I think he's doing a show right now, but he's home. He'll be happy to see you."

Lucy liked Radley kissing her in front of his ex, even if his ex had a look on his face like maybe Thoreau wasn't quite as done with the relationship as Radley was. "I'm just meeting everyone today."

"Rider's not completely gay. He still likes girls too," Thoreau told Radley. "So don't get too smug about telling me you thought he fancied boys years ago."

He shrugged a bit. "Rooney's around. So's my other dad. Rider is filming at Rex's house, I think. Romy's wherever you left her and Laney and Dudley."

"Meet me?" Rooney looked Radley over and then at the girl standing there. He arched a brow. "You get yourself a girlfriend?"

Lucy wasn't sure she liked the way Rooney said that, but she did her best to smile at him. "His girlfriend's name is Lucy," she said. "Nice to meet you."

Thoreau moved closer to Rooney, leaning against his arm a bit. "Roo and Boo are cousins," he told Lucy. "Our family is a bit complicated."

Rooney looked Lucy over for a moment, then walked forward and held out his hand. "It's nice to meet you, Lucy. You look very pretty."

Lucy was glad everyone's cards were out on the table now. They all knew she knew that Radley had been with Thoreau. She shook Rooney's hand and smiled at him. "Thanks," she said. "It's nice to meet you too. You look a lot like Radley, you know."

Thoreau felt kind of like snapping at Lucy to stop being... just... around. Rooney thought she was pretty? Rooney wasn't supposed to think she was pretty.

"I know. It's depressing." Rooney teased her and then laughed. "Most Macnairs look alike. I think Rider is the only one who doesn't look like any of us. He has these big, Dumbo ears."

Radley laughed at that and nodded. "It's true. He does." He told her and then kissed her temple. "Reau. You want me to help you make dinner?"

Lucy laughed at that, smiling up at Radley when he kissed her temple. He was sweet, even if he had fucked his brother. She liked being with him. "You and Radley both look good," she assured Rooney.

Thoreau didn't want to leave Lucy and Rooney alone together. What if Rooney liked her? He nodded though. He didn't want to be too obvious about his jealousy. "Yeah, I was just going to do some steaks."

Rooney grinned and pulled out his phone, texing Rider that he needed to come home and meet Radley's new girlfriend. "Well. Thank you. It's good that Radley has someone in his life."

Radley nodded and followed Thoreau to the kitchen. "I can help with that. I can peel potatoes or something for you if you want."

"Radley was just filling me in on the details of his last relationship," Lucy told Rooney. "I mean, he told me the outline of it, just not who it was with. Are you --" the person Thoreau had left Radley for "-- with Thoreau?"

Thoreau felt a bit grumpy as he pulled the steaks out of the fridge. "Peeling potatoes would be great. "I'll do them mashed with some garlic and a salad for people who eat salad." He got the bag of potatoes out, putting a few down in front of Radley. "So... you and Lucy are happy together?"

"Yeah. I'm with Thoreau." Rooney nodded. "But, he and I aren't related at all. I don't share a mother with him. Neither does Rider." He admitted. "I guess they've gone to cook dinner."

Radley looked up at Thoreau when he asked that question. "Well. Yeah. But, it's only been a month. I'm not marrying her next week or anything. But, she does make me happy."

Lucy glanced in the direction Thoreau and Radley had gone, nodding. "Radley really wanted to see your dad. And I think we might be staying here this weekend. I'm not sure."

"I didn't think you were getting married. I just wondered," Thoreau said, shrugging and glancing out in the direction of Rooney and Lucy again. "They could just watch us cook if they wanted to. She's pretty, even if she has a lot of makeup on."
