"You're lucky. Your life is amazing," Walden said, looking down at Pyxis and smiling. He brushed his fingers through her hair. "It sounds like it turned out well, even if it's not exactly how you thought it would be."
Walden took a risk then, leaning down and brushing his lips against hers again. He just... wanted Pyxis to think they were as good together as he did. He wanted to go on her bus and have an adventure with her.
