Honestly, Rider should have known better than to try and explain that Xavier couldn't be with Romy anymore. He'd broken his baby heart. Rex smiled at his boyfriend and kissed him softly, touching his cheek.
"You did it to yourself." Rex pointed out, looking up at him. "You should know better than to break a Macnair's heart." He kissed him again, then pulled away and walked down the hall, entering the room. "Rabastan made waffles for breakfast, Xavier."
