Christina laughed at that. "My parents are hardly ever home," she told Tom. "You might have noticed that. They think I should try and marry someone rich, but other than that they're not very hands on. I think they kind of gave up when Evan told them he was never getting married."
She ate more of her waffle. "I'm glad you want me to succeed. I'm not worried. I know I have the ability to make everything happen for myself. I just have to be willing to fight for it."
