Tom put Christina's presents away in his safe in his closet, then joined her in the sitting room. He smiled and turned on his fireplace, then some Christmas music to set the mood.
He glanced at where she wanted the tree, then put down the stand and slid the tree into place. "I'm glad that you look so happy. I wanted to make you smile."
