Christina shook her head, taking the key out of her pocket to show Evan. "Tom asked me to move in with him," she said. "Because I'm seventeen now. I said... I mean, I told him the truth, basically. I'd love to, but I don't feel like I can until I'm not a student at his school anymore."
She ran a hand through her hair. "He's just hurt because I said no and I don't blame him. And now I'm hurt because he's upset with me."
