Christina nodded, shifting Merlin in her arms and standing up again. "Do you hear that, little man? You've got to be a big boy now. Be good for Mummy and Daddy so we can sleep."
She carried him to his crib, laying him down and kissing his forehead. "We love you, but we need rest." Christina started Merlin's mobile spinning again, then walked over to Tom and kissed him. "We should retreat while he's calm."
