Radley was trying to get Thoreau to pay attention to him, but Rooney and Thoreau had been playing with their blocks together. Rider was content sitting in a corner and looking through a picture book with Romy.
He sighed heavily as he sat down beside Arielle, who was holding Laney. "Why did we have so many kids?"
