"Yeah, it's fine with me," Rider said, shrugging. "We weren't ever in the same class anyway 'cause you're younger than me. We'll be best friends forever." He shook their pinkies together. "Don't worry about it. Rooney might get mad if they put Thoreau in a different school though."
Thoreau smiled, hugging Pansy back. "I missed you too," he told her, kissing her cheek. "I'm glad I don't go to your school. I'd hate to have homework during the summer. I like getting the time off. I got to visit my mum and my brother and sister for a week."
