"She's not looking at you any way," Rider promised Romy, petting her long, pretty hair and smiling at her. He looked up at Pyxis when she suggested playing a game, grinning. "Let's combine your idea and Rex's idea and play I never or truth or dare while we get high."
Thoreau raised an eyebrow at that, looking up from his phone. "I'm up for that," he said, taking the baggy from Rex and pulling out a joint, then digging his lighter out of his pocket. "We've got tons of snacks. Rider and Roo eat constantly."
Laney sat beside Romy, feeling kind of out of place among all her friends. Thoreau was just constantly texting people. "Is smoking pot really a good idea?"
"We'd do it because it's fun," Draco told Merlin, staring at the girl who was apparently his cousin. "I'm Draco," he told her, offering her his hand. "Apparently we're cousins. Pans, I have a cousin."
