Rider grumbled a little. "It would be a good birthday present," he pointed out, then reached for his food again, stuffing some of the potatoes into his mouth. "It's fine. I know you don't want that with me."
Lavinia laughed, shaking her head. "Eventually someone would catch on to what we were doing. Anyway, you're probably going to be married and all that by the time we're old."
Draco didn't really want Merlin to just... agree to it, but of course he was going to. Because it didn't matter that Draco had wanted Merlin since before he'd lost his virginity to him. Merlin didn't want Draco back badly enough to risk being gay. "Good," he said, tugging his hand free and looking away. "I'm going to go check on Rowan. You might want to change your sheets."
