Physical description (face, build, weight): 5'-9" and about 185 lbs. Vinny has black hair and dark almost black eyes. His complexion is dusky and his features exotic, making it hard to peg his exact ethnic origins.

Abilities: Vinny can summon and manipulate shadows with an impressive mastery of skill. He is able to manipulate all the shadows and dim light in a room, allowing him to enhance his intimidation or stealth attempts. He is able to also create a large blob of inky blackness that absorbs all light, and even sound if muffled while you are within it's effects. He is able to form tangible tentacles out of shadow and use them to grasp and attack others. He can create murky and indistinct illusion out of shadows, as well as seem to turn into a shadow himself if the room is dark enough around him. Lastly, Vinny can pass through shadows, using it as a form of transportation. He has about a one city block of "range" that he can travel, using the shadows as portals.
Weaknesses and flaws: While Vinny is not a classical vampire, he is very vampire-like. He has sharper and longer than normal canines, though they are not quite fangs, and at times he craves fresh human blood. He does not require it to live, but he does have a certain psychological addiction to drinking blood that he fights against.

Backstory: Vinny was born and immediately put up for adoption by his biological mother, Angel O'Hara. Vinny didn't luck out though, and grew up as a ward of the foster care system. He wasn't abused, but he wasn't exactly loved either.

At 13, Vinny started to exhibit his skills with shadows. Without much guidance from anyone, he figured the powers out as he grew older. It was his biggest secret, the one he kept from the foster parents quite dutifully.

At 18, Vinny became his own man and has lived on his own since. He graduated high school but never went to college, instead he worked odd jobs and moved from town to two sometimes straying from the law. Vinny has just turned 21 and has been having a good string of things. The recent resurgence in vampires has been particularly annoying. Vinny has become a target for some of them, and has slain a few lower graded vampires in his efforts to keep from being made into a midnight snack.
How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: Vinny is going to be drawn into the game through being needed in the Dracula plot that's coming up for the Midnight Sons. After this, he will decide to stay with the group.
What are you planning to do with this character?: Vinny is going to join the MNS and be a loyal part of that team.
What do you want to see happen with this character?: I'd like for Vinny to work past his trust issues and learn to rely on others more than just himself.
