Abilities:
Radiation powers similar to Radioactive Man's.
His primary power is that he can absorb, generate and manipulate high levels of radiation for a variety of purposes. Other characters with radiation based powers (such as Spider-Man) can have their powers suppressed by Rok (but not turned off like Chen could do). He can look normal for longer periods of time than his father, and keep his radiation inside his body, unlike his father.
He can shoot out radiation as blasts of concussive force, intense heat, bright light, or a beam of ultraviolet radiation. He can also emit hard radiation, to cause nausea, dizziness, disorientation and, in high enough doses, radiation poisoning.
He can create radiation force fields, though they will not last as long as his father's will. While Chen could withstand a barrage from Mjolnir with his force fields, Rok may be able to withstand one or two hits before one would connect.
He can internalize the radiation to give himself super strength, able to lift up to two tons and toss it as a weapon.
He has also the super genius intellect of his father, due to natural curiosity and growing up in a super science lab.
Weaknesses and flaws:
Lead will stop all of his energy blasts and pierce his forcefields. However, his heat blasts can melt it, and his strength can still shatter it.
Telepaths can cause him to lose control of his radiation powers, sending him into a meltdown like state, making him a danger to those around him.
Character location/Home: Beijing and New York City both recognize him.

Backstory:

Long ago, Jackal and Radioactive Man teamed up to fight the Avengers and the New Warriors. They stole DNA from Iron Man, Firestar, Thor and Speedball. Jackal set out to clone these individuals. Only the Firestar clone survived, but her mind was blank. Jackal had a debt to pay RM, and so gave him the clone, programmed to be the perfect little wife. RM accepted and kept the radiation immune slave.

The clone bore Chen Lu a son, named Rok Lu. Rok had many powers like his father's, and with these powers, Chen Lu had an intermediary in his dealings with the Mandarin. The boy's father had failed the Mandarin, and so the Mandarin was going to harm the little eight year old Rok, to make an example of him.

The Accursed Iron Man and the Thor intervened. The “heroes” that since Rok was young he was told were pure evil and wanted him destroyed SAVED him.

Over the next four years, Rok discovered more and more that his father was wrong. At 12, after another humiliating defeat, a rage filled Chen beat his “wife” and son.

Rok, unlike the submissive clone wife, fought back and drained RM of his powers. RM was just Man for two days.

Rok Lu took a hover jet and a radiation suit and flew off to protect Beijing as Man of Energy, using an old base of his fathers he had reprogrammed. After a few years, he made contact with Kristoff Vernard, and they are making arrangements for Rok to come to New York to begin a new project of his.


How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: A correspondence with Kristoff.
What are you planning to do with this character?  Join the Avengers, then leave to make a team for the child of villains and reformed villains: THE THUNDERBOLTS!
What do you want to see happen with this character?: I want to see him, over time, redeem himself of his father's dealings with the Masters of Evil and the Mandarin, as well as have some fun along the way.
