Weaknesses and flaws:
Buck has a tendency to try too hard to keep up with the actual super humans among the Avengers. He is a classic overacheiver, pushing himself hard to succeed at everything he does. Just succeeding isn't sufficient - he's always had to excel.
In addition to just the stress level and tendency to get himself into trouble by pushing the limits of human physical ability, this also leads to a lot of bumps, bruises and scrapes from his sadistic personal practice routines, and occasionally bouts of depression when he runs into problems he can't solve.
His home schooling and constant push to practice - languages, martial arts, weapon skills, acrobatics, etc. - has also left him a little behind socially. He's more adept than his father, at times, having had some "bad influence" from his three godmothers, but he still hasn't done a lot of the "normal" teenage things, like dating or school activities. I.E. he's still a Rogers-style boyscout as often as not... just one who at least recognizes flirting when its there, and knows how to pick a lock.
"Boy Scout" - the motto of the boy scouts is "Always prepared" - which tends to be true of Buck, with his utility bandoliers and equipment, as well as his plans. While usually a good thing, he can also obsess too much over plans and details, spend far too much time trying to make sure he's prepared for all eventualities, look over new possible mini-gadgets, etc. when he could probably be making better use of his time.
