Gabriel smiled at Valentine, leaning into the petting. "I'm happy," he promised. "We can ask Lucius about it after all the presents and everything tomorrow. You're right. He'll probably know."
He kissed Valentine's cheek. "I'm always going to be there for you," he promised. "I'll always be your friend. No matter what happens."
