Gabriel looked up at Merlin, feeling a bit nervous. "Valentine doesn't want to go to Hogwarts if I'm not there with him," he said, shifting in place. "He's a good friend."
He glanced at Valentine, then blew the candle out and made himself relax so he could mimic Merlin's movements better, waving his wand at the candle and sounding out the words. Gabriel grinned when it fluttered too life. "It worked! I --" He glanced up at Merlin. "I know I'm only half-wizard," he said, just in case. "I'm not trying to trick anyone."
