Gabriel relaxed a little. Fire was one of the easy spells. He did his best to keep from smiling as he pulled out Valentine's wand and cast the spell the way Merlin had taught him to, saying the words clearly. Flames roared to life in the fireplace.
Gabriel smiled a little, then looked up at Tom. "Is that all right, Sir?" he asked.
