Of course it was going to hurt. Did Rex think he was an idiot? Rider knew how this worked. He froze for a moment when Rex's tongue found his arse, then started trying to get free from the spells holding him in place again, ignoring that it felt sort of... good.
"I've had it done before," Rider growled. "I know it hurts. I don't know why you think you can make me think it doesn't. I'm not stupid."
