Lucius groaned, pushing into Evan's hand. "That's true," he agreed, smiling to himself. "I do love my birds. They're always so good to me." He tilted his head so Evan could get at his neck better. "I'd say my peacocks are like my children, but then you might point out that I actually have kids."
