3rd of January and the weather was disgusting. The boat rocked with the breeze and Kirley, for the first time in his life, was feeling seasick. Even though they were on a river. Naturally, for the holiday season, they'd tied up next to Wags' place. Making good use of his Floo to visit relatives. Orsino would rather jump into a fire than apparate and Kirley would rather be hexed to death than make Orsino do something he didn't want to. Poking his head out of the hatch, K sniffed at the air, blinking up at the sky. He'd been playing an old Prince song and disappointingly, the rain was not purple, K was not happy about that. But obviously his music had no magical powers.
Tucking Blue away, Kirley decided to make a break for land. He'd been alone composing, but now he craved a little company, not used to being solitary for long. Hopping out onto deck, he ran across the boarding ramp and carried on up to the house. It only took a couple of seconds for him to be soaked through to the skin and he wished he'd thought to put an impervious charm on his clothing. Slipping in the back door, he shook his hair off like a dog and kicked off his sodden converses. 'Wags?! O?!'
