At the soft muttering George sighed, knowing his Twin was right. If their roles were reversed, he would have been telling Fred to do the exact same thing. "Should eat." He mimicked softly, starting to eat his soup at a rather slow yet steady pace.
"Course we will." Gred replied with a determined look in his eyes. With Fred and him putting their minds together on the problem there would a solution in no time - George was positive because there was nothing the pair of them couldn't do.
Everything Forge said made sense and Gred agreed wholeheartedly - after all, there was rarely a thing the Twins disagreed on. Then Fred looked at him closer and George looked away even though it was useless. He could never hide anything from his Twin.
"I know. And I was expecting his reaction. It's just..." He turned his blue eyes to those identical to his own. "It hurts, Forge." And once he uttered those words it was hard to stop the rest coming out. Even though he knew his Forge was utterly hopeless with feelings, it was still nice to have someone who would always have his back.
"It's like they don't bloody trust me to make my own decisions. And it's not just an attack on my judgement either, but yours too. You've known this whole time and did nothing to stop it. And..." He thumped his fist heavily against the table causing the pups to look up from their lunch and give him an inquisitive look. "It's not fair."
