Pyxis looked back at Rider and laughed bitterly. "I wish I could blame my attraction to you on the fact that I'm mental. But, that's not it at all. It's not a compulsion to shag you when I'm angry or upset or any other mood."
She reached up and touched his cheek. "I fancied you for a long time. And as much as I love Walden, it doesn't make me not like you."
