Charlotte laughed, smiling at Bruno. "I've been right beside you for most of it," she told him, tucking a bit of hair behind her ear. She'd missed him to. "This is way better than just texting. I've missed seeing you."
She settled down with the laptop on her bed. "Your life sounds a lot more exciting than mine."
