Charlotte had missed Bruno even more than usual this week. Him promising to send her Persephone made want to hug him all the time. "Hi," she said, when he answered her call. "I've been thinking about you."
She smiled at him. "You're flushed. I hope I didn't make you rush to answer. I was just calling because I miss you."
