"I feel like I'm surrounded by giants," Charlotte said, laughing. "I'm only five-six." She glanced at Bruno for a moment when he said he wanted to dance with her. "Bruno, you just stopped me from dancing with you," she pointed out. "I don't get why you're acting like you're my dad. I just want to have fun."
She reached out and touched his hand. "Just relax. This is fun. We can all dance together. We're friends." Charlotte dropped Bruno's hand and looked up at Jaden. If she was honest, it was nice to have a boy wrap his arm around her waist. A boy who didn't think of her like some little girl that needed to be watched over all the time. "I'd love to dance with you," she said. She touched his chest as a new song started, beginning to move to the music.
