If they got drunk, this would all become less awkward. Xavier nodded, glancing back at Elodie. "I'll meet you by the door," he said. "I'll just go make my excuses to her. I'll be right back."
He walked over to Elodie. "I'm going to get a drink with Caspar," he said. "If you want to head home. Since you've got that job interview at Bubbles tomorrow." Xavier glanced over his shoulder at the other boy. "He's got a girlfriend. I'll be fine."
