"Oh," Xavier said, and then drained his beer. Caspar was single. He snogged a girl when he was bored but... well, Xavier had snogged Elodie before. It didn't mean anything. And Elodie said there was no way Caspar wasn't gay.
"No, being single isn't bad," he agreed, thinking about the things they could do if he was single too. But he didn't want to hurt Cepheus. "I should probably get another drink. Why do you tell people she's your girlfriend?"
