Draco didn't normally go out of his way to bond with the other patients in the hospital, but Pansy seemed like she was on his level. They'd gotten along well the first day she'd arrived, so he wasn't entirely sure why she was suddenly keeping to herself around him. She seemed a bit... off. And Draco was sure her withdrawing was a bad thing, because Rider kept looking at her like he was going to come over and fuck her at any moment.
"Pansy?" Draco sat on the couch next to her, putting his book down beside him. "Do you want to play chess or something?" he asked. "It's boring, but there's not much else to do here." He looked her over. "You're quiet."
